dotado™ apparel is truly honored and pleased to announce a new addition to the team, DJ K Yung. She joins dotado™ apparel as a spokesmodel and brings an amazing depth to the roster. This has been a collaboration in the making for sometime now. This collaboration promises to bring some exciting things from both dotado™ apparel and DJ K Yung. With no further adieu, let me share a little bit about her.
With roughly 100 mixtapes under her belt and countless others as featured or hosted, DJ K Yung has built a name within the mixtape scene. Known for her hosting and unbelievable promotion she’s turned roughly 3 solid years of DJing into what most have believe to have been a decade. She currently is an active member in three DJ coalitions (Fleet DJs/ Future Star DJs/Airstrike DJs), had a stint as a radio DJ at KALA 88.5 and is currently a radio DJ for www.fleetdjs.com 2 nights a week. Along with her mixshow which can be heard on Sprint/Alltel/Verizon/US Cellular and At&t “On Demand” through cellphones. Her radio shows can also be heard as “previously record” on www.therealmidwestradio.com on Thursdays. On top of all that she was the tour DJ for a mini Bad Boy South/D Block “Hood to Hood” showcase tour and has DJ’d so many concerts, shows, and events she cannot recall the exact number. You can also find her at events not behind the tables as an event host as well as adding to her interview roster which includes names such as Murphy Lee (Derrty Ent), Big Duke (Block Ent/Bad Boy South), Bigg Jigg (Koch Records), JC (Block Ent/Bad Boy South), Trina (Slip N Slide), Willy Northpole (DTP), J Lie (Blu Division) and more. She sits on the board as newly elected President of I.U.M.M (Iowa Urban Music Movement founded and ran by Core DJ, DJ Commando) and also is assisting with the expansion of the DJ division. And if that isn’t enough she is the President of Multi Platinum Producer Hardley Davidson’s Burnin Rubber Music Group Asian Division. This past summer of 2011 she was signed to MidSouth Muzik LLC as their official DJ and is also the personal DJ for President and label mate Young X. “Signing to MidSouth Muzik has been an amazing experience. I’ve got to work with some amazing artists whos professionalism and overall musicianship has been recognized nationally. Its been a true blessing and I can not wait to see whats in store for the team in the up coming year.”
